I have been going to Takes 2 fitness for 17 years!! It is the best fitness facility in Nashville. Jeff, David and the rest of the trainers are the most knowledgeable in their field. They offer personal training plans based on the clients individual needs. I continue to go there after all these years due to the vibe or the gym, the motivation of the trainers and the energetic personalities of all.
I am a very busy person whose business schedule causes me to travel two to three times per week. Takes 2 Fitness kept me motivated and accountable while helping me stick with my routine.
I've been going to Takes 2 since first moving to Nashville in 2012. They were the first gym I checked out, and I stuck with them right off the bat. They've become my second family, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, friendly gym. It's enjoyable going to workout in the morning mainly because of the people there. The facility is fantastic, and I love the 24 hours, as well. It's especially convenient around the holidays when it's easy to fall off the wagon. Never leaving this place or this crew!
Takes Two is such a great gym for anyone who lives in Nashville. It happens to be close to my work, but even when I'm not working it's easy to get to from my neighborhood and most major areas around since it's on West End (Sylvan Park, West Meade, Belle Meade, downtown, etc.) They have a great facility that's clean and up-to-date. Their staff are genuinely great people to be around and are motivating and friendly. I don't write a lot of reviews, but it was worth taking the time to write about Takes Two. Have recommended this place to friends and family and now to everyone!
I am on the road a tremendous amount for work and go to many gyms. Takes 2 Fitness is one of the best in the country! Jeff and his team are wonderful people who are interested in helping make sure their members get a great workout in a friendly, clean and fun environment. As a former college athlete, Jeff brings cutting edge training techniques to the notice getting in shape all the way to those in top form looking for an extra edge. If you are in the Nashville area, I strongly recommend you check out one of the 3 gyms.
After 90 days I lost 11 lbs of fat, put on 6lbs of fat free muscle, lost 3 inches in my waist, and dropped my body fat from 16.4% to 11%
After trying a couple other gyms in Nashville I landed at Takes 2 a couple years ago and love it. Great trainers, great camaraderie, nice membership and everyone is working hard and enjoying it. Plus, they have all the equipment you could possibly want and good options so you can workout when it fits your schedule which is great. Everyone gets a ton of personal attention in training or the space to work out alone if that's your preference. All the trainers and members are the best ads for Takes 2 because we're all happy at where we are and where we're going in our fitness goals. Two big thumbs up!
I have worked out at Takes 2 consistently for 12 years. I could not recommend it more highly. They are great at keeping you accountable while keeping the workout fun and challenging. Their method of intertwining full body movements, cardio, and weight lifting is a winning combination to keep anyone in shape without having to be in the gym every day.
I have had a great experience at Takes 2 and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a customized training program. The team is very professional, from the owners to all of the trainers. Jonathon has done a great job of keeping it fun and working around my schedule. The 24 hour pass is also very helpful, and the west end location is conveniently located and has all of the equipment you need.
