Jeff earned his B.S. from Western Kentucky University, where he lettered in Division I NCAA football. Bergholtz also earned a Master of Arts degree from Murray State University in exercise physiology and human performance.
Jeff has opened and directed Physician fitness facilities, cardiac rehab departments, and hospital wellness centers for companies such as HCA (Hospital Corporation of America).
During his years working with clients Jeff documented and continued to see one major factor, which lead to individual success or failure in fitness. He called it the "Power of 2." He saw that when he designed protocols with his successful body sculpting routines and powerful accountability and motivational measures, individuals went through a life transforming metamorphosis, which was supernatural. He noticed when he partnered up with individuals in strength, spirit, and mind they had an 80% more likely hood of reaching their desired goals. Thus the inception of Takes 2 Fitness principles.
These principles today have changed countless lives. Jeff's client base runs the gamment from Nashville's top fortune 500 executives, physicians, top music producers, entertainers, athletes, and the hardest working population in America, house wives. His client list could be considered the Nashville who's who listing. His expertise in the field of fitness has made him one of the most sought after trainers in the area. Jeff's life and business partner is his wife Cathy. Together they have five beautiful children. They not only teach and coach the power of 2 each day at Takes 2 Fitness, but also use the same partnering principles in their home and family life. Jeff currently serves as President and head exercise physiologist for the company.
